Adamawa State has recorded an unprecedented surge in membership of the All Progressives Congress, following the recent alignment of His Excellency, the Executive Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, with the party.
Since the commencement of the enrollment exercise on 5th March 2026, APC membership in the state has grown significantly across all 21 Local Government Areas, with remarkable increases recorded in key LGAs such as Madagali, Yola North, Mubi South, Michika, Mubi North, Maiha, and Numan.
This rapid expansion, widely described as the “Fintiri Wave,” reflects a strong and widespread acceptance of the Governor’s leadership and a clear shift in political alignment at the grassroots level.
The growth has been both broad and inclusive, cutting across all three Senatorial Zones and reinforcing the APC’s presence statewide.
With total membership now exceeding 900,000, Adamawa State has officially surpassed Lagos State (891,936 members) to become the number one APC membership base in Nigeria.
This milestone underscores the growing confidence of the people of Adamawa State in the APC and the leadership of Governor Fintiri.
As the enrollment exercise continues, the state is well on track to reach the one million membership milestone, further consolidating its position as a leading political force nationally.
